Stars in Our Eyes
This month, the Play of Life (in which we are all starring in our hero’s journey) debuts its first installment in a series of scenes concerning the Leo/Aquarius axis. Leo symbolises our inner child at play, fixed attention and brow etched with concentration on that which brings us joy, fulfillment, healthy pride. And isn’t the beautiful nature of a child to instinctively – joyfully – share, display, offer the fruits of that labor to all the world as he or she encounters it? The world is so big and unfamiliar but the lion-hearted are fearless, motivated by a purity of intent…why wouldn’t everyone else love this, too?
From now until summer’s end, we can be in various stages of rehearsal and performance, honing our craft to find that sweet spot wherein the work we invest with heart and soul and the wants and needs of the greatest potential audience can meet. The chemistry perfects. Now, with all these lessons in ‘flexibility mindset’ hopefully hardwired in, is the time to start having fun re-imagining what that might look like in this morphing era.
Now the Lights shine across that sea of peoples and upon our prop boxes and stage set. What character facet of identity should be cut? Who will be your cast mates? Should you be the director or, for now, be directed? Maybe you need an agent, new logo or signature piece.
Don’t squander this energy on fretting about what’s missing – and I really mean that. Of course, bits and bobs (and ok, a chunk or two) are missing, but you possess All the Imagination You Need to work with what you have and the innate, instinctive, primordial wisdom to seek out the best you can find for the bit, bob and chunk components. You will know who and what to pursue and to let go of – but you have to get out there and breathe where the fresh creative winds are blowing…just over there a few steps out of your comfort zone.
Ah! I see you are already on your way, O Fearless One. May the fire trine bless your socks off. 🙂
